The first time I called a bout with Lou Botomy, he didn't want to work with some newbie, but he was game.  By the end of that bout, he was very complimentary, and he and I had become friends.  We talked announcing all evening at the after-party and I learned so much about the technique of announcing, it clicked after that.  He and I try to work with each other whenever possible and it's always a hoot.

I got to call Men's derby with K.D. Caustic last year at ECE.  That was amazing. Watching Quadzilla leap the entire end of the track silenced me a second.  I don't get shocked into silence often!

I once managed to get the entire Asheville Civic Center dancing to Lady Gaga's "Poker Face!"  Nearly 3000 fans dancing in their seats and a couple hundred dancing in front of my stage was touching.
